Regional Interagency Task Team on Children and AIDS – Eastern and Southern Africa (RIATT-ESA), World Vision International, UNICEF, & AIDSTAR-One are co-hosting a workshop on supporting effective aid responses to children affected by AIDS.

The purpose of this workshop is to learn about and discuss the findings of four new reports on improving the flow of resources to communities and community-based organisations providing care and protection of children affected by HIV & AIDS. The reports were created by the following partners & include research from Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Burkina Faso and Malawi.

  • Inter-Agency Task Team on Children and AIDS /RIATT-ESA/RIATT-WCA
  • RIATT-ESA/World Vision International/UNICEF
  • USAID-funded AIDSTAR-One Project managed by John Snow, Inc. (JSI)
  • World Bank

The meeting will focus on presenting the findings and gathering regional-level input to inform the way forward.
