Webinar on Mental Health and HIV Integration Efforts in Zimbabwe, Lessons Learned and Promising Practices

USAID, in collaboration with AIDSTAR-One, is presenting a series of webinars targeting program planners interested in utilizing care and support tools created by AIDSTAR-One in collaboration with the PEPFAR Care and Support Technical Working Group.

Please join us for this discussion, the last in a four part series, which will provide information on a pilot program integrating mental health services into HIV care and treatment programs in Zimbabwean communities. HIV and mental illness are significant global public health concerns. The webinar will present information gathered from a series of mental health and HIV integration efforts in Zimbabwe including a situational analysis and pilot intervention. Lessons learned and promising practices, including a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual which involves a stepped-care approach, and integration of basic mental health screening tools, will be presented. During the discussion, participants will be encouraged to share additional practices and experiences.
