Policy and Programme Responses for Addressing the Structural Determinants of HIV
By Paul Pronyk and Brian Lutz
Over the past decade, there have been increasing numbers of successful, practical interventions that address HIV’s structural factors. The paper profiles efforts that address structural factors and measures the effects on HIV-related behavioral and biological outcomes and interventions. The authors identify several lessons that will stimulate thinking on the importance of cross-sectoral approaches in the global response to HIV.
